Now, once the engine gets hot, it stalls out. I assume the lines or carb got gummed up. Any ideas how to clean it out?
It’s a briggs & stratton 4.5 hp power washer. The engine runs smoothly , has plenty of oil and gas, and no kinks in any of the hoses. It’s always worked very well up until now. It’s only a year old, and has been used about 20 times, so it’s not just worn out.
It’s been setting in the garage for several months during the winter, and I got it out to clean my patio, and now, there’s very little pressure. water comes out, more like it’s peeing than actually trying to wash anything. If anybody has any suggestions on what might be wrong, I’d appreciate it. I don’t even know where to start on something like this, never having had a power washer before.
Thank you very much.
